Hanoi’s Old Quarter streets sparkle and bustle ahead of Christmas

The Christmas bustling atmosphere has filled the streets in the Old Quarter, Hanoi, these days, making the Hanoians more eager for the upcoming festival.

Besides the traditional Lunar New Year, Christmas and New Year's Eve have become the most joyful holidays people eagerly wait for.

Hang Ma Street and the surroundings in the Old Quarter are often packed with clients a couple of weeks ahead of Christmas and New Year's Eve. 

The whole street has been filled with colorful decorations. Many decorative items to celebrate Christmas are on sale for Hanoi residents, whether Christian or not, to prepare for the festive occasion.

As Christmas approaches, vivid and colorful decorations have already been sold at various shops and stores along Hang Ma Street, becoming a snapshot venue for Hanoi’s youngsters in the festive season.

The Old Quarter street is tinged with glittering color. Items sold in Hang Ma Street changed according to the festive seasons. 

Christmas products are abundant this year, including Christmas trees, reindeer carts, flashing lights, and children’s toys. 

Large and small Christmas trees are available. The decorative colors of Christmas trees this year are white, pink, and platinum.

These eye-catching Christmas wreaths are intricately designed. Their prices varied, ranging from some US dollars to hundreds equivalent.

Snowmen are also displayed on the booths, incredibly suitable for this cold.

Decorations with different categories, sizes, and prices suit all needs and wallets.

 Most people flock to Hang Ma Street to buy items for the year-end-parties decoration. Meanwhile, others want to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the streets.
