Vietnamese photographers win international photo contest

The results of 11th International Photo Contest in Vietnam have been announced by Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) with various prizes going to Vietnamese photographers.

The contest was launched on March 31 and ended on July 31. There were 1518 authors from 45 countries and territories submitting 16,924 works to the Organizing Committee.

The 11th International Photo Contest in Vietnam is held by VAPA every two years with the sponsorship of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), the Image Sans Frontiere (ISF), and the Photographic Society of America (PSA).

After more than a month of judging, the Organizing Committee announced the best artworks of Vietnamese photographers.

 Cai nhin (The Look) by Huynh Ha wins The VAPA Gold Medal
Mat doi mat (Face to Face) by Phi Thi Thu Ha wins the ISF Gold Medal 

Suong mai thanh binh (Peaceful Dewdrop) by Nguyen Duc Liem wins the FIAP Bronze Medal

Au lo (Worry) by Tran The Phong wins the VAPA Honorable Mention Award 

Giai nhiet (Cooling Off) by Phan Trong Dat wins the PSA Honorable Mention Award

Niem tin (Faith) by Phan Vu Trong wins the PSA Honorable Mention Award

Vu xuan tren nui (Spring Crop in the Mountain) by Pham Pa Ri wins the FIAP Silver Medal

Sac mau ho Inle (The Color of Inle lake) by Nguyen Huu Thong wins the ISF Bronze Medal

Sapa ngay Tuyet phu (Snowy Day in Sapa) by Vu Van Lam wins the FIAP Honorable Mention Award 

Nhung chuyen ra khoi (Offshore Trips) by Nguyen Thi Bich Lieu wins the PSA Honorable Mention Award
