Joyful rhythm of life is back in Hanoi

As the Covid-19 pandemic is well contained, pace of life in Hanoi is once again joyful and bustling.

During the days, Hanoi streets are decked out with national flags, banners and posters to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2022).

This year’s National Day holiday seems to be more joyful than ever as Hanoi has contained the Covid-19 pandemic and gained remarkable achievements in terms of political, economic and socio-cultural development.
  1. Every corner of Hanoi is dressed up in red to cheer up the big festival of the country: The National Independence Day.
The 31st SEA Games was successfully hosted by the capital city. Hanoi was proud to welcome teams from all 11 SEA member countries to participate in this riveting biennial multi-sport event. 
  1. Production activities are at full gear in factories and firms across the city. These are female workers at Noi Bai Industrial Park, Hanoi.
Students are excited as they are able to go to school, interacting face-to-face with their teachers and friends. A teacher and her students exchanged ideas at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, Ba Dinh District. 
  1. Located in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter Area, Hang Ma is the busiest and most colorful street in Hanoi during holidays. After a long-time of closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Hang Ma Street is dyed red by the brilliant colors of lanterns, star lights and many eye-catching decorations.
  1. International tourists gradually returned to Hanoi after the Covid-19 pandemic is contained. There are many cheerful faces on the streets of Hanoi.
  1. Behind the laughter of people and visitors to Hanoi there is a message: Hanoi is a safe and attractive destination for international travelers after the Covid-19 pandemic. The capital city is moving towards a stronger, faster and more stable development.
