Women fashion in Vietnamese women's museum
Just a few minutes to the south of Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem lake, the Vietnamese Women’s Museum attests to the vital role of women in local history and culture as well as fashion from ethnic groups in varioud period.

The main building of the museum is divided into four areas: permanent exhibition, special exhibition, discovery room, and the museum shop. Temporary exhibitions are organised in a nearby area of the main building.

Vietnamese Women’s Museum organizes exhibitions with a new approach of social anthropology; reflecting the development and changes of contemporary society through projects targeting many different groups, particularly vulnerable women and disadvantaged children.

 There are more than 1,000 artefacts on display depicting the many faces and changing roles of Vietnamese women. 
 The fashion section is full of jewelry and skilfully crafted clothing, including batik and woven garments.
 Visitors to the fashion floor can observe the earrings of ethnic Mong women and bracelets worn by Cotu women.
 Vietnamese Women’s Museum was built in 1987 with the mission of spreading the public knowledge of Vietnamese women and devoting to gender equality in Vietnam.
