Vietnam's northern mountainous area frozen in white frost
The ice blanket covered the entire northeastern mountainous region, creating a spectacular landscape.
The icy snow covering some mountain peaks is an unusual and rare sight as the temperature plummeted on January 22 and 23.
Ice and snow accumulated in some places in the mountainous areas of northern Vietnam, such as Phia Oac Mountain in Cao Bang Province, Yen Tu Mountain in Quang Ninh Province, and Mau Son Mountain in Lang Son Province.
According to experts, the icy scene is the result of a strong cold front hitting Vietnam's northern mountainous region.
