The Hanoi Museum houses the proof of the city's past and present with thousands of capital-related artifacts that visitors shouldn't miss when touring the capital.

Located on Pham Hung street, next to the National Conference Center, the Hanoi Museum impresses tourists by a modern and unique architecture which looks like an inverted pyramid.

From a distance, the inverted pyramid building that houses the Hanoi Museum exerts an immediate impact on visitors.

With 12,000m2 of floor space on an area of 50,000 m2, this is the biggest and the most modern museum in the country.

Spacious campus and unique architecture makes the place a favorite destination for domestic and foreign visitors on a trip to Hanoi.

The building includes four upper floors and a two-level basement. The ground floor is designed to display some pottery pieces and for souvenir sale. The second floor exhibits antiques of Hanoi. The third floor displays collections which are donated by organizations and individuals; and the fourth floor is where a gallery of ancient Hanoi is showcased.
