Churches in Hanoi get facelift ahead of Christmas
Many people, including Hanoians and visitors, get ready to enjoy Christmas asmosphere at churches in the city.

Churches in Hanoi have been splendidly decorated and got a facelift with Christmas trees, Nativity scene and shimmering lights.

The Christmas atmosphere filled the campus of Cua Bac church on Phan Dinh Phung street, Ba Dinh district.

 

 A nativity scene and a huge Christmas tree have been built in the backyard of the church.

Not only Hanoi’s residents, but also international tourists in Vietnam come to Cua Bac Church to celebrate early Christmas.

At Thai Ha Church on Nguyen Luong Bang street, a Christmas tree and the House of God itself have been decorated with sparkling lights.

The interior of Thai Ha church has become quite a scene for photos.

Phung Khoang Church is adorned with eye-catching light and garlands.

The scene of the cave, the birthplace of Jesus, was built in the campus of Giang Vo church on De La Thanh street.

Hanoi's St Joseph's Cathedral looks amazing attracting many people. A great midnight mass is expected to be celebrated here.

People of all ages are flocking to St. Joseph's Cathedral.

A 15-meter Christmas tree has been set up in front of the church, attracting numerous tourists to check in.

Nativity scene has been also built in the yard of the church.

The foot of the "giant" Christmas tree has been glittering with stars and lights.

The shining adornment attracts many people to take photos of the beautiful moment.

The Church is especially bustling at night when thousands of people flock here.

Many young couples who love each other cannot miss to visit the church every Christmas Eve.

Christmas is no longer a Christian holiday, but has become a celebration for everyone.

 There are decorations outside and the streets around are lit up. The Cathedral is on this occasion a must visit place.
