Vietnam Clean Energy Magazine launched the "Green Earth" program in May 2020 in response to the above-mentioned campaign.

The program is deployed in two phases. The first phase has been launched on Facebook with a campaign calling on people to take a minimum of 30,000 steps a day in three consecutive days. Participants walk 30,000 steps, video the act and posted it on their personal Facebook page together with message on protecting the environment, improving health and calling for others to join.

The second phase was the massive march on June 7 with the broad participation of all walks of life as well as other activities such as awarding funds to support environmental activities.

Many young people said that small actions by an individual for the environmentwill ultimately protect the Earth.

The program has the mission of spreading the green living message to the community and raising people's awareness about protecting the environment in daily activities. A large number of young people, students participating in the program are committed to calling on the community to join hands in protecting the green Earth.

The program’s organizers also donated VND100 million (US$4,285) to the Living Fund to implement the project "Planting mangroves 2020" with the aim of protecting mudflats in the southern province of Soc Trang and expanding the mangrove forest, increasing coastal resilience to the complex developments of climate change.
