A new bus route connecting the peri-urban district of Ha Dong and Noi Bai International Airport is expected to be put into operation from June 2019, local media reported.
The Hanoi People's Committee has approved the plan to launch the bus line No.68, which will run daily in every 30 minutes from Me Linh Plaza in Ha Dong district from 5:00 to 23:00.
The journey time is 90 minutes and ends at terminal T1, T2 (domestic and foreign terminals) of Noi Bai International Airport. The bus service will shorten travel time as compared to the regular one as it makes fewer stops.
With a capacity of 60 passengers, the bus service is expected to charge a fare of VND40,000 (US$1.72) per passenger per ride, with the distance of 40.7km.
The new buses’ color is orange, with a symbol of “Khue Van Cac” (Pavilion of The Constellation of Literature) and peaceful birds on the buses’ rear part. The buses are equipped with free high-speed wifi, travel with reasonable travel time and fixed itinerary, among others.
