The cooperation between Hanoi and Chiang Mai still has much untapped potential.
The media contributes to promoting socio-economic development and cooperation between Hanoi and Chiang Mai, thereby enhancing the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Thailand.

Chairman of the Hanoi Journalist Association To Quang Phan made the statement at a meeting with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand Tanee Sangrat in Hanoi on October 8.

Phan said that the cooperation between the two countries and the two localities still has much potential to be tapped, especially the tourism in Chiang Mai.

The chairman of the Hanoi Journalist Association stressed that Thailand has created favorable conditions for overseas Vietnamese to live and work in the country.

Currently, Thai investors also pay great attention to Vietnam’s market. The Vietnamese government always welcomes foreign businesses, including Thai ones, Phan said, adding that he wished the cooperation between the two nations will be further improved.

Phan said that the Hanoi Journalist Association will keep promoting its communication role, with a view to strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

For his part, Tanee Sangrat highly valued the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Thailand and the bilateral business cooperation.

In addition to the important goals in business cooperation that the two nations have achieved in recent years, many cultural exchanges and friendship ties have also been promoted, Tanee Sangrat added.
