Hungary willing to help Hanoi in urban development
Hanoi’s authority always supports and facilitates cooperation and promotion activities between Vietnam and Hungary in the capital city.
Hungary is willing to accompany Hanoi in the process of urban and economic development, Deputy Minister of State at the Hungary’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Bezetei Akos made the statement at the meeting with Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Van Suu in Vietnam's capital on March 22.
Bezetei Akos affirmed that his visit aims to strengthen the good traditional relationship between Vietnam and Hungary, creating conditions for strengthening people-to-people ties.
On the occasion of celebrating the 70th anniversary of Hungary and Vietnam’s bilateral relations in 2020, the deputy minister of State at the Hungary’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade expected that the Hanoi People's Committee will facilitate and support the Hungarian embassy in all fields.
In his position, Bezetei Akos assured that he will create all necessary conditions for the Vietnamese embassy in Budapest.
As the two countries plan to sign a bilateral cooperation agreement, the Hungarian offical hoped that cooperation with Hanoi will be strengthened in a sustainable way, serving as a basis for bilateral relations.
Briefing on Hanoi’s development, Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Van Suu hoped the two sides can look forward to more extensive cooperation.
Suu said that in the process of development, Hanoi is facing some challenges related to urbanization, and the city wants to learn Hungarian localities’ experiences for mutual sustainable development.
