Hanoi further enhances administrative discipline
Hanoi made public and transparent activities of its organizations and bodies, especially the reformed administrative procedures.
Hanoi will further improve discipline in the city’s staff, civil servants and officials, Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung said at a government inspection at the Hanoi People's Committee.
Chung noted that the city has thoroughly enhanced discipline in the city’s contingent of civil servants and officials, sensitizing them on rules and regulations.
At the meeting, Director of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs Tran Huy Sang said Hanoi city has taken measures to tighten administrative discipline in state agencies.
Since 2017, the city has inspected 79 agencies and bodies and handled seven cases of violation.
In 2018, the Hanoi People's Council carried out surveys and thematic supervision of rule observance of cadres, civil servants and officials in parallel with implementing the city’s two codes of conduct.
In addition, Hanoi has also attached importance to preventing and combating negative issues and corruption, strictly punished corruption offenders.
In 2018 and the first quarter of 2019, the city organized 341 training courses on corruption prevention regulations. Hanoi also made public and transparent activities of its organizations and bodies, especially the reformed administrative procedures.
