Hanoi expects to export US$6.6 million from the International Handicrafts Trade Fair |
The International Handicrafts Trade Fair is an annual event held in the capital of Hanoi and part of a series of international specialized fairs for handicrafts held in every October in Asia - Pacific region. It aims to bridge handicraft establishments with foreign importers and fair visitors, and promote sales and export.
The fair is significant in resuming production activities in the new normal, especially in the context that Vietnam has basically contained the Covid-19 pandemic.
The fair also contributes to sustainable growth of Hanoi’s export turnover of handicrafts in 2020. Besides, it offers ample opportunities as it targets a larger audience, especially foreign importers, and exhibits a wide variety of gifts and handicrafts.
Handicrafts trade shows often exhibit goods that represent cultures, traditions, and countries around the world.
The 2020 version of the fair is expected to attract 10,000 – 12,000 visitors, including 650 to 700 international importers and visitors.
