According to the city’s leaders, the action month aims to urge all levels and sectors to enhance work safety and hygiene, encourage enterprises to abide by the Law on Work Safety, contributing to improving working conditions and protecting employees’ health.

The action month is expected to help raise employers and workers’ awareness in the observation of work safety and hygiene regulations and to reduce the number of labor-related accidents and occupational diseases.

Besides, the action month targets improving employers’ responsibility in caring for the health of the employees, while having businesses with high risk of labor accidents and diseases to invest more in equipment and technology to improve labor conditions.
