The Hanoitimes - On June 15, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs launched a website for people with disabilities at http://nccd.molisa.gov.vn.
The website aims to provide the disabled with updated information on policies, regulations and projects that affect their daily lives. It will also help to strength solidarity among disabled people.
In particular, the website will disseminate information on the Disabled Law when it comes into effect. As scheduled, the 7th session of the 12th National Assembly will adopt the Law on the Disabled on June 17.
Currently, Vietnam has more than 5 billion people with disabilities. The Party and State always pays a lot of attention and creates the best possible conditions to help the disabled stabilise their lives and integrate into the community. Many people with disabilities overcome the hurdles in their lives to become outstanding engineers, entrepreneurs and social activists.
