12:50, 2013/12/31
Viet Nam strongly condemns terrorist bombings in Russia’s Volgograd city on December 29 and 30, said Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Luong Thanh Nghi.

Mr. Nghi made the statement while answering reporters’ query on Viet Nam’s response to the two consecutive bombings within 24 hours.

“We would like to extend deep condolences to families of the victims, the Government and people of Russia”, said the Spokesperson.

He believed that those who carried out the attacks will be strictly punished.

Local newswires reported that at least 30 people were killed and around 70 others were injured in the attacks.
