Vietnam strongly condemns roadside bombing that killed 3 Vietnamese in Cairo
There were 18 people on the bus at that time, including 15 Vietnamese and three Egyptians.
Vietnam is indignant at and strongly condemns the terrorist attack that killed three Vietnamese tourists and an Egyptian tour guide and injured many more in a roadside bombing in Cairo, Egypt on early Saturday (Hanoi time), a Vietnamese spokesperson has stated.

According to the Vietnamese Embassy in Cairo, there were 18 people on the bus at that time, including 15 Vietnamese and three Egyptians.
Vietnam calls on the Egyptian government to act fast and find and punish those responsible for the terror attack, Le Thi Thu Hang, the spokesperson of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated on Saturday.
“Vietnam is also calling on governments and their people to stand united in the fight against terrorism in an uncompromising way to ensure a peaceful life and safe travel for people around the world,” Hang added.
The spokesperson added that Vietnam appreciates the efforts of the government and the people of Egypt in supporting the treatment and protection of Vietnamese citizens attacked in this incident.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, and instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to immediately implement necessary measures to protect Vietnamese citizens in Egypt.

The Vietnamese foreign ministry informed at 06.30 pm today that three severely injured people have been operated and are under intensive treatment while nine others are recovering well.
