FPT opens office in Saudi Arabia

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inaugurated FPT Group's first Middle East office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking an important step in FPT's global expansion strategy. Dong Thap launches program to boost culture and tourism

A program to promote culture and tourism in the southwestern province of Dong Thap was kicked off on October 30. Visitors can explore the Hoang Hao ecological area, fish farms, border landmarks, and other local attractions, and enjoy local cuisine and community tourism. Dong Thap attracts 4.2-4.5 million visitors annually and has nearly 90 community tourism sites.

Danang art contest enhances coastal appeal with cultural designs

The "Danang Beach Installation Art Design Contest 2024" will run from October 20 to December 10, inviting residents aged 12 and above to create unique photo opportunities on the local beach and enhance the city's coastal appeal. With prizes totaling nearly VND60 million (US$2,460), entries can explore themes such as culture, marine conservation, and youth expression.

Vietnam-Philippines trade turnover expected to reach US$8.5 billion in 2024

The Vietnam Trade Office in the Philippines has forecast that trade between Vietnam and its neighbor will reach US$8.5 billion in 2024, with Vietnam earning a surplus of US$3 billion. From January to November, trade turnover reached nearly US$6.5 billion, up more than 20% year-on-year. Rice remains Vietnam's top export, fetching US$1.98 billion.

2024 National Bodybuilding Championship kicks off in Ca Mau

The 2024 National Bodybuilding Championship was launched on October 30 in the southern province of Ca Mau with 110 athletes from 13 provinces. The event aims to select athletes for the national team and promote bodybuilding. It will run until November 1.

Ninh Binh Festival highlights heritage with art and street festivals

The 2024 Ninh Binh Festival, themed "Heritage Flow", will run from November 24 to 30 with major events in Ninh Binh City and Hoa Lu to celebrate the region's rich historical heritage. Highlights include art performances, a 3D heritage film, and a street festival to promote Ninh Binh as a millennium heritage city.

FSEL platform expands English access with AI and new Vietnamese programs

The AI-powered language learning platform FSEL launches on November 3 with the goal of bringing "An English Center In Your Pocket." Offering a comprehensive English curriculum accessible anywhere, FSEL supports 20 million Vietnamese students and expands access to quality education, including partnerships for Vietnamese language programs with Hanoi's University of Languages and International Studies.
