5,000 Vietnamese noodle carts to be launched in Ho Chi Minh City

The Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association and several businesses will implement the project of deploying 5,000 hu tieu go [a type of Vietnamese noodle dish] vehicles in the city, with future plans to expand nationwide. Each vehicle will have the words "Hu tieu go Saigon" [Saigon-style hu tieu]. The selling price for a bowl is VND25,000 (US$1.03).
Hanoi promotes traditional handicrafts in Ninh Binh
About 40 businesses and cooperatives from Hanoi and other provinces showcased their One Commune One Product (OCOP) items at the “Cultural Heritage and Traditional Handicraft Product Space” event in the northern province of Ninh Binh. Vietnam sets statistical targets for green growth
Vietnam’s Ministry of Planning and Investment issued Circular No.10, which sets statistical targets for green growth. It will serve as a basis for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the National Green Growth Strategy for the 2021-2030 period and a vision for 2050.
The targets outlined in this circular will come into effect on December 15 and apply to agencies, organizations, and individuals involved in providing statistical information, producing statistical information, and using statistical information on green growth.

The Van Ninh Communal Festival in Van Ninh Commune, Quang Ninh Province's Mong Cai City, was recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, according to the latest decision signed by the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. This traditional festival takes place annually from the 9th to 10th day of the first lunar month, featuring solemn rituals such as processions, ceremonies, and a festive section with activities of traditional dances, duet singing, blindfolded duck catching, and tug of war.
The province has a total of eight national intangible cultural heritages, and Mong Cai City alone has three.
M&A capital from Europe and US is shifting to Asia
Investors from Europe, Japan, the UK, and the US are redirecting their investments toward Asian countries, including Vietnam. They are attracted to Vietnam due to its stable political environment, growing consumer demand, and competitive labor costs.
Ivan Alver, Co-founder of Global M&A Partners, cum Partner at Norway's Saga Corporate Finance, made these remarks at the GMAP Conference held on November 13 in Ho Chi Minh City. He recommended that Vietnam's policies be even more favorable for the divestment process to attract investors.
Number of Vietnamese students in the US up
The number of Vietnamese students studying in the US is increasing for the 2022-2023 academic year. Vietnam continues to be among the top five countries with the highest number of international students in the US, according to the Institute of International Education (IIE) 's Open Doors Report on November 13. The US hosts over one million students (at the undergraduate level) from more than 200 countries and territories, including 21,900 Vietnamese students for the academic year.
Week connecting to innovation applications to underway in Hanoi
