Switzerland pledges to support Hanoi developing a smart urban

The Chairman said Hanoi targets to supply the city's fresh water meeting the European standard, promote waste management in a scientific way, and implement projects in order to replace with entire lights with power-saving clean energy.
During the reception for the Swiss diplomat, Chairman Chung expressed his wishes that Switzerland and Hanoi will promote to cooperate, share experiences and support each other in addressing traffic problems, environment and the transfer of high-quality agricultural areas.
The Hanoi's leader hoped that Ambassador Beatrice Maser Mallor will become a bridge to help attracting more Swiss businesses to do business in Vietnam in general and Hanoi in particular in the coming time.
The capital of Hanoi is ready to create the most favourable environment for Swiss companies investing in the city, Chung stressed.
Impressed by Hanoi's socio-economic achievements in recent years, Ambassador Beatrice Maser Mallor shared that she has been working in Vietnam for 20 years and has witnessed clearly the process of socio-economic development of Hanoi in particular and Vietnam in general.
Hanoi owns a separate beauty of the city which has the Old Quarters imbued with national identity, the ambassador added.
Agreed with the proposals of Chairman Chung Mallor said Switzerland is willing to fully cooperate and share experiences in various fields with Vietnam in general and Hanoi in particular. Switzerland is well-known in the world for power-saving projects, using green power in order to protect the environment, she noted.
The Swiss ambassador also suggested to cooperate with Hanoi in raising the quality of education and training.
The diplomat affirmed to try her best efforts to successfully and effectively implement the cooperation between Switzerland and Hanoi in the time ahead.
