This year, G7 Summit will be held in Charlevoix, Quebec, Canada with the attendance of seven world’s advanced economies namely Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK and the US.
Scheduled to take place on June 9, the G7 outreach session will see the participation of leaders from G7 economies, European Union and eleven guest nations namely Vietnam, Argentina, Bangladesh, Haiti, Jamaica, Kenya, South Africa, Rwanda, Samoa, Senegal, Seychelles along with other international organizations.
The G7 Summit offers an opportunity for G7 leaders, ministers and policy makers to annually gather, discuss, build consensus and set trends around some of today’s most challenging global issues.

It has been proven to provide the global leadership and play a powerful role in impacting world issues.
The second time being invited to the event gives Vietnam a chance to prove its role in the international arena and shows its capacity to define solutions, ideas to tackle numerous global issues, including matters of its concern such as climate change response.
