11:09, 2014/08/23
According to the Reuters News Agency, the event in Ho Chi Minh city is ranked amongst the TOP 10 Oktoberfests outside of Munich (Germany).
The event is expected to draw a large number of visitors in Ho Chi Minh city and Hanoi.

Under the patronage of the German Embassy in Hanoi and the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh city, the German Business Association (GBA) with its 164 German member corporations co-hosts and celebrates Germany’s largest cultural event in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi this coming October.
The Oktoberfest 2014 in Ho Chi Minh city will happen at Windsor Plaza Hotel on October 10-11, and October 14-18. JW Marriott Hotel is the location for the Oktoberfest 2014 in Hanoi, on October 23 24.
“This year’s Oktoberfest Hanoi is promising to be even bigger and more exciting and we expect on both event days a sold out event with more than 2,500 guests”, Elmar Dutt, GBA Chairman said.
Visistors will ‘go loud’ with rock hits and popular Bavarian folk music, swing the beer mugs for toasting, and dance together with great enjoyment.
The Oktoberfest will creates the authentic atmosphere found in the massive beer halls of the original Oktoberfest in Munich, complete with delicious German cuisine, premium imported German brews and a great party mood with very authentic Bavarian music from the band “Gaukis Bavaria” in Ho Chi Minh city and the “Anton Showband” in Hanoi.
