Hanoi to host 70 spring flower markets this Tet Holiday

In the run-up to Tet, some 70 spring flower markets around the city throw an enchanting display of colors and scents.

Locals and tourists are invited to explore the Spring Flower Markets, which offer a perfect blend of shopping, sightseeing and entertainment during this joyous season in Hanoi from January 8 to 28, 2025.

The Hanoi People's Committee has unveiled a plan for flower markets that promise to bring an array of colorful flowers and traditional crafts to the heart of the capital in time for the Lunar New Year. A stunning array of flowers, ornamental plants, fruit trees, and exquisite handicrafts, all imbued with the festive spirit of Tet, await visitors.

In Hanoi Old Quarter area, the traditional spring flower markets will come to life along the charming streets of Hang Luoc, Hang Ma, Hang Khoai, Hang Ruoi, and Phung Hung Mural Street in the historic Hang Ma Ward of Hoan Kiem District.

In Hai Ba Trung District, visitors can enjoy the beauty of nature at the flower markets in Thong Nhat Park and Tuoi Tre Park.

In Dong Da District, four lively markets greet visitors at 44 Hoang Cau Street, the Center for Culture, Information and Sports at 22 Dang Tien Dong Street, the Dong Da Cultural Park at 4 Dang Tien Dong Street, and Cau Moi Street in Nga Tu So Ward.

In Cau Giay District, three bustling flower markets will be set up in the Trung Hoa – Nhan Chinh Urban Area on Hoang Dao Thuy Street and on the sidewalk of Hoang Ngan Street, offering plenty of shopping and entertainment options.

In addition, flower markets will be open in other districts of Hanoi, including Ha Dong, Thanh Xuan, Bac Tu Liem, Nam Tu Liem, Long Bien, Hoang Mai, Tay Ho, and many others, ensuring that no matter where you are, you'll never be far from the festive charm.

Hanoi’s spring flower markets are more than just places to shop - they are an integral part of the Tet experience. Wander through these vibrant markets to admire intricate bonsai trees, decorative items, and flowers that symbolize prosperity and good fortune for the coming year. The bustling atmosphere, accompanied by the sweet scent of blossoms, makes it the perfect setting for a memorable day out with family and friends.
