The celebration of the charm of Hue Imperial City will be held from November 23 to December 2 by the Management Board of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, part of activities to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 24).
According to the organizing board, a show featuring Ao dai designs and traditional music of Vietnam’s north and central regions will be staged.
In addition, a music program will take place on November 24 featuring melodies of northern folk music as well as ancient tunes of Nha Nhac (Hue royal court music), which was honored with a place on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
On this occasion, a collection of Hue traditional costumes by Doctor Thai Kim Lan and a set of instrumentals of Hue royal court music will also be introduced to the public.
