Holding Vietnam Tourism Roadshow in China
The Vietnam Tourism Roadshow, which was organised by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), opened in the Chinese capital of Beijing on October 19.
The tourism roadshow is one of activities of the national promotion campaign that takes place in Beijing, Chungking and Chengdu from October 19-25.
The event is expected to promote Vietnamese destinations and services as well as create cooperation opportunities for the two sides’ tourism agencies.
VNAT Director General Nguyen Van Tuan said Vietnam is strengthening its communication efforts, and hoping that the local friendliness and rich tourism resources would attract Chinese visitors.
According to the official statistics, Vietnam received 1.9 million Chinese tourists in 2014, up 2.21% yearly, accounting for 24.7% of the total foreign arrivals.
The event is expected to promote Vietnamese destinations and services as well as create cooperation opportunities for the two sides’ tourism agencies.
