Local militia forces have helped prune trees, clear roads, and clean up schools to help quickly resume daily life.

After typhoon Yagi or Storm No. 3 swept away, the Hanoi Capital Command swiftly reviewed and implemented disaster response plans, deploying thousands of officers and soldiers to ensure public safety and assist in recovery efforts.

On September 7, as the typhoon weakened, the Command sent 579 officers to help local authorities and residents deal with the storm's aftermath in eight districts: Cau Giay, Dong Da, Ba Dinh, Hai Ba Trung, Hoang Mai, Ha Dong, My Duc, and Son Tay Town. They coordinated military forces, monitored local conditions, and provided timely support.

Militia forces were mobilized to clear roads, while on September 8, nearly 600 soldiers, 80 vehicles, and local teams pruned 93,000 trees. Over 2,400 personnel also addressed localized flooding, using 323 vehicles and 139 pumps.
