Extra care is recommended near construction sites and areas with large metal sheets.

The Hanoi Police has deployed over 1,500 personnel and more than 140 rescue vehicles for emergency response during super typhoon Yagi or Storm No.3.

The policemen also received over 70 reports of fallen trees due to strong winds caused by the storm.

Accordingly, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police have actively coordinated with district and town police to inform and guide residents for safety throughout the storm's impact in the capital.

In addition, efforts have been made to inspect potential collapse sites to prevent accidents and ensure safety during transportation. Since the afternoon of September 6 until 4 p.m. on September 7, the city police’s command center has managed over 70 reports of fallen trees caused by Storm Yagi, deploying personnel and vehicles for emergency operations.

Upholding the tradition of "serving the country selflessly, serving the people," the Hanoi Fire and Rescue Police are working tirelessly to minimize damage to lives and property caused by super typhoon Yagi.

As the storm continues to advance with complex patterns, accompanied by lightning, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police advise against traveling in areas with large trees, avoiding shelter under trees, and staying clear of elevated areas. Special caution is advised around construction sites and places with large metal sheets.

In case of fire, explosion, or any emergencies, residents should immediately contact the professional Fire and Rescue Police at 114 or use the “Fire Alarm 114” app on their mobile devices for prompt assistance.
