According to Vietnam News Agency, the “Hanoi – Vietnam” pavilion aims to assist producers and exporters in Hanoi to showcase their goods and services while strengthening the promotion of brands and goods from Hanoi in particular and Vietnam in general to customers in Australia and other countries.

The pavilion featured a variety of goods, including brick and stone, smart homes, mechanical tools and grills, wooden kitchen cabinet models, domestic plastic products, and ceramics.

It helps grow important export markets, establish business partners, build foreign markets, and encourage chances for exporting goods and bringing items into Australian distribution channels.

Hanoi’s businesses also participated in sideline activities to advance their understanding of developing global brands, methods of product promotion, and interior design trends.

Joining the Show aims to put into action two projects namely “Mobilizing Overseas Vietnamese to Participate in Introducing Products and Developing Distribution Channels for Vietnamese Goods in the Period 2020-2024” and “Promoting Vietnamese Enterprises to Directly Participate in Foreign Distribution Networks until 2030.”

Addressing the event, Tran Thi Phuong Lan, Acting Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, said the Show will enable domestic exporters to expand their overseas distribution network as Australia is a potential market.

It’s also an opportunity for local businesses to seek partners in handicrafts, furniture, and woodwork. The fields suffered losses in the Covid-19 pandemic, helping Hanoi boost export turnover in the future.

The event was described as a “golden” opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to re-enter the Australian market, as viewed by Ha Thi Vinh, Chairwoman of the Hanoi Handicraft Village Association, who is also Director of Quang Vinh Ceramics Co., Ltd.

She anticipates that by participating in this exhibition, Quang Vinh Ceramics would be introduced to more potential clients in the Oceania region and its 10-partner network.

Melinda, a Sydney-based interior designer, expressed interest and pleasure in viewing the goods on display at the “Hanoi – Vietnam” pavilion, particularly the smart device goods.

She said that one of the things that caught her attention was the displays on smart devices.
