Vietbuild Hanoi International Exhibition 2023 expected to revive real estate

More than 400 domestic and international participants gathered at Vietnam's largest construction exhibition, which opened to create a connection amid the economic recovery.

The second edition of the Vietbuild Hanoi International Exhibition 2023, which runs on September 20-24, has seen the participation of numerous new products and advanced technologies in real estate, construction, building materials, and interior and exterior design.

More than 1,000 pavilions of over 400 domestic and foreign companies from Australia, China, France, the UK, Germany, India, Italy, and Japan display their products and technologies at Vietnam's largest construction exhibition.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh said that the event, themed "Construction - Building Materials - Real Estate & Interior and Exterior Decoration", aims to support enterprises in restoring production and business activities.

"The expo is an opportunity to showcase the diversity of products in construction, building materials, real estate, and interior and exterior decoration. It also provides a platform for companies to seek opportunities and helps them gain a better understanding of government policies on construction and real estate, trade promotion, and technology transfer," the Deputy Minister added.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan said the construction sector has made an important contribution to the growth and modernization of the capital.

"The Vietbuild Hanoi International Exhibition would facilitate the development of the real estate sector, connect supply and demand, and promote cooperation between domestic and foreign enterprises. It will also facilitate the connection between supply and demand, support production and business activities, and strengthen partnerships between domestic and foreign enterprises," Tuan stressed.

He noted that in the context of recovery and economic development, Hanoi is encouraging enterprises to cooperate to implement construction investment projects in the area, especially social housing development projects.

The exhibition featured a wide range of real estate projects, security equipment, electrical equipment, doors and accessories, smart housing systems, interior and exterior decorative items, construction materials, rooftop solar power systems, security technology, LED lighting systems, advanced technology solutions for construction, and a variety of architectural products.

"The exhibition is a useful and practical playground that brings many good results for businesses in terms of trade promotion and investment; demonstrates the vitality of businesses, innovation, and creativity of the construction industry; and creates confidence for domestic and foreign investors," Thien Minh, Sales Director of Vinahome Group Joint Stock Company, told The Hanoi Times.

A series of trade promotion activities, conferences and business matchmaking events, seminars, and business forums were held during the five-day exhibition.
