Hanoi's Party leader visits traditional flower market in Old Quarter

Hang Luoc flower market is a special traditional flower market which is open only in days prior to Tet.
On February 2, the first day of the Tet holiday (the 2019 Lunar New Year), Politburo Member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai visited Phung Hung mural street, Hang Luoc flower market and surrounding areas.

Hang Luoc flower market is a special traditional flower market which is open only in days prior to Tet. The spreads over 4 streets which are Hang Luoc, Hang Ma, Hang Khoai, and Hang Ruoi. This is a destination that attracts many domestic and foreign tourists.
Taking a walk with people from Phung Hung mural street to Hang Luoc street and stopping at Hang Ma ward's headquarters, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai inquired after the health and conveyed the best Lunar New Year wishes to the people and businesses.
After being briefed about the situation of the Tet holiday, the Party official presented gifts and conveyed Lunar New Year greetings to the elderly and the Party, authorities and people of Hang Ma ward.
Speaking on this occasion, Hoang Trung Hai highly appreciated the Party Committee, authorities and People of Hang Ma ward during the past year and since the beginning of the term 2015 - 2020 for having always been united and striving for contributing to the overall achievements of the city.

Emphasizing the tasks of the capital, especially when Hanoi is an attractive tourist destination with 4.3 million foreign visitors last year, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai wished each Hang Ma ward official and people to be aware of their responsibility to represent the city “to receive guests” from all parts of Vietnam and the world to Hanoi. In order to do that well, he suggested that officials and people of the ward should strictly implement the code of conduct issued by the city, take care of building cultural lifestyles and environmental sanitation in each family. At the same time, they should leave beautiful and memorable images in the hearts of domestic and international tourists, and deserve of the tradition of culture, hero and city for peace.
