Hanoi to host diverse events during national holiday
A fashion parade will be held at Phung Hung street mural space, titled “Spring - Summer 2019” by Hanoi fashion designers.
A wide range of events will be held in Hanoi Old Quarter to celebrate the 44th anniversary of National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2019) and May Day, said the Management Board of Hanoi’s Old Quarter on April 19, Cong Thuong newspaper reported.
Accordingly, visitors will have a chance to enjoy traditional crafts at an exhibition titled “Vietnam’s do paper, now and past”, at Kim Ngan communal house in Hang Bac street, Hoan Kiem district from April 24 to 25. On May 4, visitors who love traditional handicraft will be able to learn more about the history of the do paper production craft as well as do paper production stages at a seminar on this craft.
In addition, a cultural program under the theme “Quintessence of Vietnamese crafts” will be held around the Phung Hung street mural space from April 27 to May 1. The event aims to honor artisans and craftsmen who have contributed to preserving heritage values.
