Hanoi to hold the conference on supply-demand connections of agricultural products

The Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade has just issued Plan No. 1511/KH-SCT on organizing a conference on supply-demand connections of agricultural products and solutions for sustainable development in 2018 in the Capital city.

According to the plan, the conference will take place at 8.00 a.m on April 19 at the Trade Promotion Center for Agriculture No. 489 Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Cau Giay District.
In the framework of the event, a series of promotion activities will be held, such as: booths for agricultural products (meat, vegetables, eggs, fruits, flowers, etc.) from districts and towns.
The conference aims to understand difficulties and shortcomings in producing and consuming agricultural products so as to promote supply and demand connections and find out solutions to support the consumption of goods in the area; call on enterprises processing agricultural products to build facilities in localities which have large output of agricultural product so as to improve the value of goods; offer measures for sustainable agricultural development; assist farmers in enriching knowledge of market, building trademark, contributing to stabilizing the domestic market towards export; strengthen communication and introduction of safe agricultural products to local consumers.
