This initiative is part of a broader plan to restructure administrative procedures and improve the Administrative Procedure Information System for the period 2024-2025, which was approved by the Hanoi People's Committee on October 11.
Upgrading and improving the system is scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2024.
Under this plan, residents will be able to upload their digitized documents to the electronic data repository, which will be integrated with the National Public Service Portal and the Document Management System to facilitate data extraction for administrative processes in electronic format.
In addition, the Administrative Procedures Information System will be linked to the National Population Database and business management systems, as well as various ministries and agencies.
In addition, Hanoi will expand the use of mobile applications to provide online public services, incorporating features such as cashless payment options, progress tracking for application processing, and QR codes for administrative results.
This restructuring aims to reduce in-person visits, minimize documentation requirements, and reduce the manual processing of administrative procedures by government agencies.
Hanoi has processed 1,191 out of 1,885 administrative procedures online, including 318 fully online and 872 partially. Among them, 165 full online services and 727 partial online services have been integrated into the National Public Service Portal.
