Hanoi fair showcases regional specialties
The Vietnam Local Specialties Fair 2018 aims to promote the goods supply-demand connection between Hanoi and other localities throughout the country.
Thousands of specialties from all regions around the country are being displayed at the Vietnam Local Specialties Fair 2018 between November 23-26 in Hanoi.

The fair saw the attendance of Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Quang Tung, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Doan Toan.
According to the organizer, the fair accommodates nearly 300 booths of more than 200 domestic businesses and foreign enterprises from six countries.

Meanwhile, nearly 100 pavilions are set up at the exhibition, showcasing products by over 20 craft villages in Hanoi. The city is home to more than 1,300 craft villages, over 300 of which have been recognized as traditional trades.
Orange, grapefruit, rice, shrimps, tea, coffee, pepper, cashew, vermicelli and processed seafood are all available with certified geographic indication, food safety certificate and eye catching packaging design.
The Vietnam Local Specialties Fair 2018 aims to promote the commodities supply-demand links between Hanoi and other localities throughout the country and realize the cooperation programs between Hanoi and other provinces and cities in the country in terms of trade and agriculture.
The fair is also an opportunity for businesses and craft villages to strengthen and expand trade promotion activities, attract consumers and tourists inside and outside the country visiting the capital.
