Hanoi and Edessa to boost tie in numerous areas
On April 12, Vice Mayor of Hanoi Nguyen The Hung received the delegation of Edessa city (Greece), led by its Vice Mayor Anastasios Diou.
At the meeting, both sides agree that the relation of Vietnam and Greece as well as Hanoi city with Greek cities are continuously enhanced and striving.
According to Hanoi Vice Mayor, the city’s export to the country reached about US$2 million last year, with products ranging from agriculture to mechanic and craft, while Hanoi also import many commodities of Greece’s strength. Bilateral ties of Vietnam and Greece are built and developed, on the basis of co-evolvement. Many Greek firms are investing in Vietnam. “In term of tourism, Hanoi welcomed nearly 3,000 Greek arrivals last year,” specified Hung.
