Hanoi and China’s Hunan province exchange experience in urban management
Hanoi and Hunan province would facilitate the sharing of experience in socio-economic development, economic and trade collaboration, contributing to the healthy, stable, and effective development of the two sides’ relations.
Hanoi always welcomes Hunan province's enterprises to do business and invest in the capital city, especially in the fields of transport infrastructure, urban infrastructure and sharing experience urban management.
Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung made the statement during the reception in Hanoi on November 29 for Secretary of the Party Committee of Hunan province Du Jiahao.
At the talks, Chung proposed the two sides strengthen investment promotion activities, creating favorable conditions for Chinese enterprises to invest in Vietnam and Hanoi.
The mayor wished that Hanoi and Hunan province would facilitate the sharing of experience in socio-economic development, trade collaboration, contributing to the healthy, stable, and effective development of the two countries' relations.
Chung also hoped that both sides would seriously realize the common perceptions of their senior leaders and increase exchanges to improve the efficiency of cooperation in diverse fields.
For his part, Du Jiahao stressedthat his delegation’s working visit aims to promote friendly cooperation between the two sides, materialize the commitments of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Xi Jinping reached during the visit to Vietnam of President Xi in 2017.
Besides, some of Hunan province’s enterprises started to set up production facilities in Vietnam. Trade cooperation is a strong foundation to further strengthen relations between the two localities as well as the two countries, Du Jiahao said.
He thanked the Hanoi’s leader for facilitating Chinese enterprises as well as Hunan provinces’ to operate in the capital city, expecting that the two sides to keep the cooperation in the time ahead.
At the meeting, the two sides informed each other about their respective party and national situations, and discussed ways to nurture ties between Hanoi and Hunan in the near future.
