Enjoy exhibition Korea – Tradition and Modernity
From June 27 to Jul 11, Hanoians can enjoy the exhibition Korea – Tradition and Modernity at Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam.

Among the 14 artworks, the organizer will select 3 artworks for the grand awards. First prize is a trip to Korea and a solo exhibition at the Korean Cultural Center; Second prize is a trip to Korea and a cash prize of US$200; Third prize is a cash prize of US$200.
Before that, a concert to mark the 25th anniversary of Vietnam – South Korea diplomatic relations was held on April 1 at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi. The concert, which be free of charge, is expected to offer audiences special performances of artists from Vietnam and South Korea. All of money donated by businesses and organisations was presented to outstanding Vietnamese students and Vietnam – South Korea multicultural families.
In addition, a ceremony was organized on February 8th in Seoul, South Korea, by the Vietnamese Embassy and South Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. At the ceremony, the participants watched a video clip introducing images of the development of the Vietnam – South Korea relations during the past 25 years, performances by children of Vietnam – South Korea multicultural families, who are representative of the people exchange between the two countries and the future of the bilateral partner relations.
These are activities mark 25th anniversary of Vietnam – South Korea diplomatic relations (December 22nd, 1992 – December 22nd, 2017). During the past 25 years, Vietnam – South Korea relations have made remarkable achievements in various fields, contributing to development and cooperation in the region and worldwide.
Since 2012, South Korea’s direct investment capital in Vietnam has increased by three times to USD50 billion, making RoK the largest foreign investor in Vietnam, while the bilateral trade turnover has also rose by two times to USD42.8 billion.
Over the past five years, the number of visitors of Vietnam to South Korea has also doubled and vice versa. There are nearly 150,000 Vietnamese people living, learning or working in South Korea, and this is the figure of the Korean community in Vietnam.
