About 140 booths showing special dishes from embassies, domestic and foreign enterprises and organizations at the International Cuisine Festival 2020, held in Hanoi on December 6.

This was the 8th edition of the festival with the aim of providing an opportunity for cultural exchanges, cuisine demonstration and fundraising activities hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The event introduced culinary quintessence of regions throughout Vietnam and from other countries such as Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Cambodia. Also a cake-packaging contest was held in the framework of the festival for charity auction.
Along with enjoying the food, visitors can also watch the cooking process and the skills of local chefs from various localities.
Visitors to the event also had a chance to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere, musical performances, and buy books and traditional handicrafts.
The event was chaired by Ambassador Nguyen Nguyen Nga, spouse of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh.
