VNAT and MobiFone cooperate to promote Vietnamese tourism
A cooperative agreement on promoting international arrivals to Vietnam and attracting more domestic tourists was signed by the National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) and the telecommunications group MobiFone in Hanoi last weekend.
Under the agreement, a new tourism information portal, Halo Vietnam, will be introduced at www.mplace.vn, providing information on services, destinations, food, hotels, restaurants, entertainment and sports in a number of locations in Vietnam.
The portal will also enable viewers to give their opinions on and rank tourism destinations and services in a bid to improve sector quality. Customers will also eventually be able to make online reservations through the site.
