VN, China work together in strengthening national unity bloc

The Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) and the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) will continue to enhance exchanges and multifaceted cooperation and learn from each other’s experience, to further consolidate the national great unity bloc in both countries.

Visiting Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Wang Jiarui made the statement during a meeting with VFF President Nguyen Thien Nhan in Ha Noi on December 19.

VFF President Nhan expressed his pleasure to receive Vice Chairman Wang and his entourage, saying that this year is a special year in the bilateral relationship, which has been filled with reciprocal visits of high-level leaders from the two Parties and Governments.

The visit will contribute to enhancing the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries and accelerating relations between the VFF and the CPPCC, said President Nhan.

Vice Chairman Wang, also head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC)’s Central Committee and a Politburo member, thanked VFF President Nhan for his reception and briefed the host about major renewals which the CPPCC has resolved to implement to create a consensus among Chinese people of the leadership of the CPV and the administration of the Government.

On behalf of the VFF Central Committee, President Nhan congratulated Chinese people on their socio-economic achievements and thanked the Chinese side for sharing experience, from which Viet Nam can follow to improve the VFF’s role.

The VFF will study the CPPCC’s renewals to make its operation more practical and effective to further the construction of the national great unity bloc, President Nhan added.

Vice Chairman Wang conveyed CPPCC Chairman Yu Zhengsheng’s invitation to VFF President Nhan for an official visit to China.
