VITM-Hanoi 2015 - Opportunity to promote capital's tourism image

The opening ceremony of the 2015 Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM-Hanoi 2015) was held in Hanoi on the evening of April 2. Vice President of State Nguyen Thi Doan, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People`s Committee Le Hong Son attended the event.

The 2015 Vietnam International Tourism Mart (VITM), themed “Vietnam – The Land of Heritages”, takes place in Hanoi from April 3-6. The third VITM will feature 355 booths of Vietnamese travel agencies, hotels, tourism offices and airlines.
Travel agents, tour operators and hotels from 24 other countries and territories worldwide will also display their products and services at 145 booths.  On this occasion, airlines plan to offer around 15,000 discount tickets, priced from 190,000 VND for international flights and from 333,000 VND for domestic flights.  Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Le Hong Son affirmed that the VITM-Hanoi 2015 will create opportunities for the municipal tourism sector enhancing tourism cooperatin and promotion, and introducing historical traditions, culture and tourism potentials.
In the coming time, Hanoi People's Committee will create favorable conditions for municipal tourism development, aiming that Hanoi will be the most attractive destination selected by visitors.
