Vietnam’s leading IT companies honored by Vinasa

“Vietnam’s ten leading IT companies 2020” brought together digital technology businesses where converge prestige and ability converge to be the pioneer for digital transformation.

The Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) held a ceremony in Hanoi on December 14 to grant the “Vietnam’s ten leading IT companies 2020” title to outstanding IT companies.

The annual “Vietnam’s ten leading IT companies” program aims to honor prestigious and outstanding firms in the IT sector.

According to statistics, more than 80% of the enterprises are researching and applying new technologies in the process of developing products and solutions. The IT firms on the list of “Vietnam’s ten leading IT companies 2020” posted total revenue of approximately VND1,975 trillion (US$85.3 billion) in 2019, accounting for more than 76% of the total revenue of the software, digital and IT service industry in 2019.

Total export revenue of Top 10 ICT enterprises in the Top 10 group of software exporting enterprises reached more than VND4,900 billion (US$211.8 million), accounting for nearly 24% of the total software export turnover of Vietnam in 2019.

“Under the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic and the 4th industrial revolution, digital economy and digital transformation are vital conditions for the country’s development," said Chairman of VINASA Truong Gia Binh.

"The “Vietnam’s ten leading IT companies 2020” brought together digital technology businesses where converge prestige and ability converge to be the pioneer for digital transformation, use technology to solve Vietnam’s issues, and build exceptional ability to develop in global scale,” Mr. Binh added.

Mr. Pham Quan, the General Director of Tien Phong TF,  which is one of the top 10 IT companies, said his company has created new software applications equipped with AI and IoT applications for fast-growing specific markets, with a view to becoming one of the leading IT companies in Vietnam in the near future.

"We pledge to join the government and enterprises in the process of national digital transformation for a prosperous Vietnam," Mr. Quan said.

The title is granted to enterprises in the three categories which are Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), IT Outsourcing (ITO) and Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO); Software and IT Solutions and Services; and Digital Content, Applications and Solutions for Mobile Devices.

3. FSI Technology Development and Trading Investment Joint Stock Company
4. MISA Joint Stock Company
5. SAVIS Technology Joint Stock Company
6. Tam Hop Nhat Technology Joint Stock Company (UNITECH)
7. Tien Phong Limited Company (TF)
8. Tinh Van Technology Joint Stock Company
9. Viettel Enterprise Solution Company under the Military Telecommunications Industry Group
10. VNPT Information Technology Company (VNPT IT) under the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT)
