Participants are showcasing goods ranking from  consumer, industrial, handicraft, to agro-forestry-aquaculture, organic foods, and Vietnamese favorite products produced in Hanoi and localities nationwide.

Products in the government’s One Commune-One Product (OCOP) program honoring prominent domestic goods will also be available at the event. Local authorities plan to expand the OCOP network in the city to 60-70 locations, nearly tripling the number this year.

The Vietnamese Goods Product – Hanoi 2020 is aimed to enable businesses to promote sales, investment and trade, bringing domestic goods closer to local people and visitors.

In this year’s week, some more places providing OCOP have been opened, including three situated near handicraft attractions in Son Tay town namely the Va Temple, Khai Nguyen Temple, and Mong Phu village.

This is among a series of activities that Hanoi has conducted recently in an attempt to reboot the economy.

Hanoi sets economic growth target of 4.5%-5% for 2020. It targets to collect VND260.4 trillion (US$11.32 billion) for the state budget this year.
