Vietnam to produce screens for iPhone and iPad

The Hanoitimes - The Taiwanese Group Wintek has signed a contract to lease land to produce high-tech touch screens for iPhones and iPads at the Quang Chau industrial zone in the northern province of Bac Ninh.

Duriing the first phase, Wintek plans to invest nearly US$100 million and employs almost 300,000 workers.

Wintek is o­ne of the two touch screen producers for iPads in the world using the latest technology and their products are very popular in many countries.
