Vietnam rose 22 times to reach the power index
Indicators of access to electricity in 2015 of Vietnam rose 22 times comparing to 2014 and ranked 108/189.
Doing Business team of World Bank (WB) today announced results of the evaluation of the competitiveness index in 2015 (Doing Business 2016) of 189 economies around the world including results assessment of the power of access.
The elements of time-to-power and cost of implementation has improved comparing with 2014, according to the results of this evaluation approach power index of Vietnam in 2015 increased by 22 places comparing with 2014 and stood at the position of 108/189.
Indicator approach of Vietnam's power is the one with best changes result in 10 indicators of business environment of Vietnam. Content changes of Vietnam's power sector was also recognized in the Doing Business list of 19 countries with improved process efficiency electricity access.
To help getting the positive results, according to the Doing Business team, EVN has made a series of drastic measures.

With synchronous solutions and drastic shortening of EVN in time, shortened procedure related to the electricity industry has contributed to improve the energy index approaching for medium voltage customers. As reported by Doing bussines, the date of implementation of Vietnam is 59 days (including the procedures of EVN and the associated functional unit), that is better than that of Indonesia, East Timor, Cambodia, Myanmar, Lao PDR.
Doing Business Report has given good results on improving power index approach, which have demonstrated the constant efforts of EVN in the process of determination in improving customer service business in general, customer medium voltage connection in particular.
In the coming period, EVN will continue its efforts to further improve the power indicator approach, enhance customer service quality, improve power supply reliability, improve the competitiveness of the economy to better serve the needs of customers and society.
