Vietnam resolved to search for traces of missing plane

Vietnam is resolved to search for traces relating to the missing Malaysian plane in its capacity, said Deputy Minister of Transport Pham Quy Tieu.
According to the official, Vietnam has fished out strange objects found by a Singaporean plane near Tho Chu Island, which is off the country’s southeast coast.
 
 

However, conclusion to whether these objects are debris relating to a plane accident or not remains unconfirmed, he said. 

On March 10, MI 171 helicopter and DHC 6 seaplane, together with eight naval ships, two maritime police ships and two others naval vessels, departed from Phu Quoc to search for the missing flight. 

A total of 34 planes, 40 vessels and many fishing boats of fishermen have to date taken part in the efforts. They have, however, sent back no positive outcomes. 

The Boeing 777-200 aircraft operated by Malaysia Airlines left Kuala Lumpur International Airport for Beijing at 00:41 a.m. on March 8, and lost contact at around 1:30 a.m. the same day. 

The aircraft was carrying 12 crew members and 227 passengers
