Vietnam promotes foreign technology transfer into prioritized fields

The solution for the time ahead is to build and improve the policy formulation mechanism, improve efficiency of state management to support transfer, mastery and development of foreign technology into Vietnam.
The Vietnamese government has approved a scheme to promote transfer, mastery and development of foreign technology in Vietnam's prioritized fields in the period of 2025-2030.

The scheme aims to guide policies to support transfer, mastery and development of foreign technology into Vietnam, especially source technology, high technology and fundamental technology, narrow the gap in technology qualifications and capacities with advanced countries in the region and the world.

The scheme strives to complete the policy mechanism, to create favorable conditions for transfer, mastery and development of foreign technology into Vietnam, contributing to promoting the innovation model in depth.

It also focuses on developing a number of prioritized fields like information and communications, industry, agriculture, construction, transport, health, natural resources and environment.

The solution for the time ahead is to build and improve the policy formulation mechanism, improve efficiency of state management to support transfer, mastery and development of foreign technology into Vietnam.

In addition, the scheme also supports improvement of the quality of human resources, identification of prioritized fields for transferring, mastering and developing foreign technology into Vietnam in accordance with the requirements of innovation and production level.
