State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue headed the delegation.
The leaders expressed their gratefulness to President Ho Chi Minh, who devoted his life to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation while stressing their commitment to follow the pathway that President Ho Chi Minh has chosen to lead the country towards prosperity.
The delegation also laid wreaths at the Monument for Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son street to commemorate national heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country’s liberation and the people’s happiness.
This year, Vietnamese people would enjoy a four-day national holiday between September 1 and 5. However, due to the serious Covid-19 situation, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh urged local authorities to continue enforcing restriction measures and people to refrain from mass gathering in public places.
