Accordingly, the app, NCOVI, allows people to declare their personal health information on mobile phones as requested by the Vietnamese government.

Besides, citizens can update their daily health status and also provide information to the best of their knowledge about cases suspected of catching the Covid-19 in their residential areas.

Health declaration is useful for health agencies to update on the health status of local people, and thus take timely solutions.

According to a recent governmental decision, health declaration is compulsory with an aim to help early detect any new outbreak and infection, thus bringing the situation under control in time. Vietnamese authorities recommend foreign citizens to regularly update their health status through this app.

Besides, health authorities will send tips on Covid-19 prevention to the people through the app, which is available on the Android Play and App Store.

Vietnamese citizens and foreigners entering Vietnam can also declare their health conditions on the website https://suckhoetoandan.vn/khaiyte or https://tokhaiyte.vn.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam expected that through the NCOVI app, people could have two-way interactions with health authorities.

Dam emphasized that the Vietnamese government ensures the privacy of the data made available through the app.

Vietnam has reported 32 Covid-19 infection cases in 10 cities and provinces, of them 16 have been cured.
