The Agency for Enterprise Development (AED) under the Ministry of Planning and Investment in collaboration with the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) has launched the business information portal at the address https://business.gov.vn.

The portal, developed on a digital platform in both English and Vietnamese interface, is designed to provide accurate and comprehensive data for the business community free of charge, which helps enterprises set up business strategies and address their concern.
According to the AED, the main objective of the portal is to better meet the growing needs of businesses in accessing official market data and searching for partners globally to enhance their competitiveness.
AED Director Le Manh Hung said the booming information era is offering both opportunities and challenges for businesses.
“The establishment of a reliable communication channel between the State and business community, of business to business, small and medium enterprises to industry-leading companies or the FDI sector, is of great urgency,” Hung said at the launch on December 23.

Sebastian Paust, First Counsellor for Development Cooperation at the German Embassy to Vietnam, said the portal is a comprehensive and friendly platform for businesses to access key data provided by public services.
Paust expected businesses to be able to access a network of business consultation, partners, market research, and information on the national SME support program on the portal.
Hung from AED stressed the significance of global integration, expressing his belief that the portal would serve as a bridge between local businesses and their foreign peers, in turn laying the foundation for Vietnamese enterprises to claim a greater stake in international markets.
